85th Annual Meeting

Our 85th annual meeting will be virtual this year on November 30, 2021 at 6:30 pm due to COVID19 and the impact it has had on all of us
The decision was made to follow the current rule Governor Northam put in place to restrict the size of in-person gatherings to ensure everyone’s safety.
The meeting will only last for about 20 minutes and cover the following:
- Chairman Report (3 min)
- President’s Report (3 min)
- Supervisory Committee report(3 min)
- Voting of open board positions (3 min)
- Old business (3 min)
- New business and questions (3 min)

How to vote for board members on ballet
1.) The Bio of each person that is applying for a board position will be displayed on the screen
2.) After reading the BIO you will type the name of the person that you are voting for in the chat section
3.) The number of votes will be counted by credit union staff members and the winner’s name will be announced

The 85 year Heritage of our credit union
It was started by 10 African American Teachers on April 17, 1936, in the middle of the great depression.
Below is a copy of the original membership register (the original is on display in our Home office) of the first men and women who signed their names to start the foundation of our credit union.
The Original Membership Register represents the POWER of ONE Signature. What people can do if they choose to work together.
For 85 plus years Richmond Heritage Federal Credit Union has supported urban communities and individuals that have traditionally been denied access to financial resources. We seek to provide everyone the opportunity to achieve basic foundations of financial security by offering affordable financial services. We are committed to helping families and individuals reach their financial goals.
